1 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/cup Japanese vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp Coleman's dry mustard
1/4 cup mayo
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 med onion
1-2 garlic cloves, grated
Blend ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth. Freeze dressing for about 1/2 hour before serving. THis will make the dressing slushy. Prepare favorite veggie salad. Top with chicken and won ton pi chips. Pour dressing over salad right before serving.

7-Up Mold
This recipe is from a friend who does wonders with Jell-O. She is known as the Jell-O Queen. This one is great for parties and potlucks, especially during the summer.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
3 cans mandarin oranges
1/2 cup syrup from the oranges
4 - 5 pkg gelatin
1 1/2 cup boiling water
1 can 7-Up, chilled
Mix the cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice. Drain juice from oranges saving 1/2 cup. Dissolved unflavored gelatin in the reserved mandarin juice. Add the boiling water to the gelatin and mix well to dissolve. Add gelatin mixture to the cream cheese and whip. Add the 7-up, then fold in the oranges. Pour into a 9 X 13 pan and refrigerate

Kress Store Colored Popcorn
This recipe is from the Waihee School 125th Anniversary Cookbook. Really Ono!
1/2 cup popcorn
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbs oil
food coloring (red and green, make one batch each)
Mix sugar with a few drops of food coloring. Let sit until sugar is dry. Heat oil. Oil is ready when popcorn sizzles. Add popcorn and sugar mixture to oil. Cover pot and keep shaking pan until kernels are popped.

Maui Pronto Pops
Unlike corn dogs, pronto pops or pups doesn't use cornmeal. This is a great snack from the county fair. Hope you enjoy it!
2 c flour 2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt 1 / 2 c sugar
1 egg 1 c milk
4 pkg hot dogs, wiped dry
oil for deep frying
Mix ingredients together. Dip hot dogs in batter and deep fry.
