Some of you Hawaii expats living abroad, like me, may be missing some of the ono grindz from back home. Although many of the recipes you may be able to find online, a lot of them doesn't have that home kitchen touch.
If you would like other recipes, leave a post.

Kress Store Colored Popcorn

This recipe is from the Waihee School 125th Anniversary Cookbook. Really Ono!

1/2 cup popcorn
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbs oil
food coloring (red and green, make one batch each)

Mix sugar with a few drops of food coloring. Let sit until sugar is dry. Heat oil. Oil is ready when popcorn sizzles. Add popcorn and sugar mixture to oil. Cover pot and keep shaking pan until kernels are popped.
